Dun & Bradstreet Business database, Europe | £40,000 | | | | | | This unique D&B database includes businesses ranging from sole traders to multinationals, from headquarters to single locations and branches. D&B collect the data via their extensive call centre network, undertaking continuous update and address verification. Although mapping is not the primary reason for the collection of this data, a special low “GIS use only” price has been negotiated to make this data affordable for strategic analysis. Choose from different types of business such as retail in a specific region or banking and finance for the whole of Greece. This dataset includes company name, number of employees, location indicator i.e. headquarters, branch or single site, SIC code, postcode and the full address which can be used to determine the exact position of the business on the map. As is usual with mapping licences, there is a restriction on the use of data which prevents use of the full address information for mailing purposes or to contact the companies.
