Includes: AA 1:200,000 vector mapping for GB. This MapMechanics GB starter pack contains an annual licence for AA Automaps background mapping which provides the familiar AA data that you will have seen in their top-selling paper atlases.
Unit postcode file, UK. To place your own data on the map, you will need a "look-up" or "geocoding" file to add geography to your own postcoded data. So you can import your own customer address list from your normal spreadsheet or database. The unit postcode file (annual licence) will enable your mapping system to look-up the correct map location for each postcode and place your data as spots on the map. Now you can see the spread of your data over a familiar AA map.
Geoplan low resolution postcode sector boundaries, UK. Having a large database of customers makes it difficult to see the relative numbers in each area when they are represented as spots, so you may wish to group them together by postcode sector, district or area and shade the map according to the number of customers. To do this you will need a boundary file, so the starter pack includes Geoplan boundaries (perpetual licence) at the latest postcode release. You can also use these boundaries to balance your sales territories, map distribution areas and create catchments etc.
