2006/2007 Population Update, sector level UK | | | | | | | 2006 data is now available and a further '07 update will be issued mid 2007. These updates are created by MapMechanics each time mid-year estimates are released from the Office of National Statistics (based on births, deaths and migration data). These mid-year estimate modelled variables include: total number of people, number of females, number of males and broad age bands by gender (ages 0-14, 15-64, 65 plus). There is insufficient new information about other variables to release mid-year updates, however, remodelled data is also provided each time new postcode sector boundaries are issued (generally twice a year). These sector updates are created by reaggregating the original Census data to match the latest boundaries so that you can easily undertake meaningful analysis using today's postcode sectors. In the first year, updates are free and in subsequent years, sector updates are provided at list price per annum of the particular sector level pack you are licensed for. | | | |
