Ideal for assessing credit risk – a key factor influencing an individual’s ability to make payments, CAMEO Financial has been created at unit postcode level (each with an average of just 15 houses) and reflects both the number and value of county court judgements in the postcode. CAMEO Financial is unique in using six years’ history of actual County Court Judgements and Bankruptcies to evaluate the likely credit risk carried by a postcode. Each postcode is assigned one of 43 financial types such as “very low risk retired home owners” or “highest risk young white collar workers". There are seven groups of risk. Group one is “lowest risk” with under 24% of households falling in this group and group 7 is the “highest risk” with over 13% of households in this group.
