MapMechanics helps MVA refine greener, more cost-effective modelling
NAVTEQ map and traffic data underpin drivetime and accessibility projects
NATVEQ data supplied by MapMechanics is helping MVA Consultancy to produce the kind of analysis illustrated in this map, which shows peak congestion (defined as the difference in speeds between the AM peak and the week-day inter-peak period) in the central belt of Scotland. These speeds come from an MVA model which is validated using observed data including speeds such as those derived from the MapMechanics data.
