Course objectives
The 2 day course provides a practical grounding in the basic ideas and skills to use the standard GeoConcept product. Following the course, delegates will be able to manipulate and analyse data in GeoConcept maps and explore other areas of the product on their own or through further training. Delegates are not expected to have any prior knowledge of GeoConcept or GIS systems in general. |

Who should attend?
The course is relevant for anyone who will use GeoConcept. It is also useful to provide an appreciation of the system's capability to managers whose staff will use GeoConcept. The number of delegates on each course is limited to 8, usually working in pairs, to ensure that each student has sufficient access to the course tutors for help and advice. |
Course content
The course is organised on a modular structure as a series of presentations interspersed with hands-on exercises which grow in complexity as the training progresses. Sessions are informal and questions and comments are encouraged. See Topics covered opposite.
