Course objectives
Extend your knowledge of how to make the most of the flexibility of your TruckStops system. This course includes a day at the MapMechanics training centre looking at functionality which you may not have come across before and new ways to use the functions you are already familiar with. You may bring a second delegate (free of charge) to this course if you both book and attend together.
A one day on-site one-to-one session with a MapMechanics specialist is also included to ensure you successfully apply new skills to your own projects. |

- Load Analysis logic. How does TruckStops build routes?
- Optimisation process. How does TruckStops improve the routes?
- Cost analysis. The effect of the cost values on route optimisation.
- Data import using specification files

Who should attend?
The course is aimed at TruckStops users who have received initial training in the product, developed their TruckStops skills through using the product, and who now want to increase their understanding of how TruckStops works and review some of its more advanced features and techniques. This course will help TruckStops users become TruckStops implementers.
The number of students on each course is limited to 8, usually working in pairs, to ensure that each student has sufficient access to the course tutors for help and advice. |
Course content
The course is organised as a series of classroom style presentations interspersed with hands-on exercises which grow in complexity as the training progresses. Sessions are informal and questions and comments are encouraged. |
